Her fragile body clings to the wall for support. His harsh beatings rain down on her body continuously. A scream elicits from her mouth after each punch. Each one muffled by the large, unscaleable walls of this dreaded place. All of his beatings break her inside. Slowly. Her body adjusting to the constant pain. Pale skin, covered in dark bruises. Some old, some new. Each one a reminder. Each one brings forth painful memories. Ones she wished were just nightmares. Silently he mocks her with each beating. You have a wonderful way of putting words together that perfectly describe how I'm feeling. As I'm reading your words, it's as if they are directed towards me. I guess that's the beauty of poetry, you can make it what you want and interprate it in your own way. All I have to say, is keep writing, you're wonderful at it.
